A common question we hear from first-year students is: "Where do I start if I think I may be interested in Economics?"
Both of our introductory courses, Econ 101 Principles of Microeconomics and Econ 112 Principles of Macroeconomics also fulfill the Social Sciences GER (along with Econ 201, 212, 215 and 231). By taking one of these courses, you can explore academically, make progress towards completion of GERs and towards the major/minor if you decide to eventually declare one within the Economics Department.
Please join us on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 for an exclusive Class of 2028 Virtual Information Session to learn more. You can RSVP here by Monday, August 5th. If you are not able to attend the webinar, but wish to receive the recording, please register for the event.
If you have any additional questions about the Economics Department, please reach out to econungrad@emory.edu.
We look forward to meeting you at the Emory Expo on Saturday, August 24, 2024 and Department Meet & Greet on Monday, August 26th.
