
Economics Leadership Program FAQs
Do you have questions about the Economics Leadership Program? Most of your questions will be answered below, but for additional questions, please email the program director, Professor Pesavento at epesave@emory.edu.
No. The program is designed for students who want to grow personally and professionally, whether or not they currently hold a leadership position.
Any undergraduate or graduate student can join the Economics Leadership Club no matter the major.
Yes. Students may participate in the components that best fit their interests and goals. Certificate requirements may involve participation in more than one component.
Any Emory undergraduate student can enroll in the course as long as they have met the prerequisites.
Graduate students can also enroll in the course but should email the program director, Professor Elena Pesavento at epesave@emory.edu for permission.

Mentorship is integrated into club and program activities. Students meet alumni and professionals through recurring conversations, workshops, and related events, with opportunities for questions and continued reflection.
All students are eligible to enroll in the course, join the Economics leadership club, and participate in the mentorship program, and networking opportunities.
Only Economics majors and joint majors are eligible to apply for the Leadership Certificate.
