Future Economic Leaders Club
The Future Economic Leaders Club at Emory University is a vibrant and supportive community that offers a welcoming environment for students to explore the unique challenges and opportunities they face on their journey to becoming successful leaders in their chosen fields. While the club is open to all students, it remains committed to creating a space where women feel supported, empowered, and encouraged to pursue leadership roles in the field. Established as a complement to the monthly mentorship program, the club aims to deepen the engagement and learning experiences of its members through structured meetings and discussions.
The club convenes twice a month with a dual agenda that maximizes both external inspiration and internal community support. The first meeting each month is directly connected to the mentorship program, featuring discussions led by the invited mentors of the month. This integration enriches the club's offerings and ensures continuity in learning from role models in the field with emphasis on female leaders.
Networking events can be found on the networking page: EVENTS
The second monthly meeting provides a more intimate setting, fostering open discussions among club members and, at occasionally, with Emory faculty or administrators. These sessions serve as a platform for students to share personal experiences, discuss challenges, and explore topics of mutual interest. By cultivating strong peer connections and mentorship opportunities, the club empowers members to navigate the challenges of their academic and professional journeys with confidence.
Students interested in the Future Economic Leaders Club should email Prof. Pesavento to be added to the Canvas site for club updates.
