Optimizers
The Economics Department has had a Co Rec soccer team called Optimizers for many years. Members include faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates, both male and female. The players get together two or three times a month (during each semester) to practice and once a semester to play a game against rivals, such as the School of Public Health and the Goizueta Business School.
Free pizza and beverages follow each game. This is just for fun and camaraderie, so one does not need to be a pro to join.
Come play soccer with us! The field in the Kaminsky Park (Candler Fields) are reserved for Optimizers' soccer practices on the days listed below. Players are encouraged to be on time!
