Congratulations to Doug Shipman, president of the Atlanta City Council, who won the seat in the November 30, 2021 runoff election.

Doug Shipman moved to Atlanta to attend Emory as a Woodruff Scholar and is a 1995 Emory College graduate and former Emory Alumni Board president.
