Professional Development Course
This accredited course helps economics students connect their academic experience with their professional goals. Students explore career possibilities, strengthen workplace skills, and practice presenting themselves and their ideas with clarity and confidence.
Through readings, discussions, workshops, applied assignments, and conversations with alumni and professionals, students develop practical tools for the transition from college to graduate study or the workplace.

Course Experience
Students engage with economic leaders and Emory alumni, examine a range of professional experiences, and complete practical assignments. A signature assignment is a three-minute professional introduction or elevator pitch that allows students to practice and demonstrate what they have learned.
