We appreciate that Berkeley Research Group (BRG) came to campus for an engaging conversation with our economics students!
Students had the opportunity to learn more about fulfilling internship opportunities, the firm’s incredible global reach, and its insightful work in health care analytics offering a valuable look at how economics and analytical skills can translate into impactful careers.
We were especially proud to have an alum of our Economics Department, Joshua Kravath 25C, return to campus and share their experiences and career journey along with his colleague, Kyle Polivka. A truly meaningful reminder of the lasting connections between our department, our alumni, and the opportunities available to our students.
Thank you, BRG, for connecting with our undergraduate, 4+1, and master’s students, sharing your expertise, and investing in the next generation of economists!

Our 4+1 and Master's students learned more about how consulting and economics go hand-in-hand from the team at Cornerstone Research, including one of our alums, Lucas Lu 24C! We appreciate the insight about the different industries, disciplines, and issues that are central to the being a consultant and career paths.
With offices all over the world, we appreciated this virtual session with Cornerstone and providing an enlightening Q&A regarding internships for our students.

Our 4+1 students got an inside look at real-world economics in action as Jesse Smith from Demand Side Analytics shared how applied statistics drive insights in the energy sector. From analyzing big data to estimating demand impacts, students had the chance to ask questions, build their network, and explore career paths where economics meets analytics and policy.
Unique opportunities like this make the 4+1 MS/BA Program so impactful. Thank you, Jesse, for coming to visit with our students!
