Conference FAQs

The conference registration fee includes use of meeting spaces and conference facilities, welcome reception, all breakfasts, lunches, and coffee breaks during the conference.

The Emory Conference Center Hotel features state-of-the-art conference and event spaces, a business center, 2 restaurants, and coffee bar. The Conference Center is located on a 26-acre forest and features 325 guestrooms with complimentary wireless internet access and concierge services. Recreational amenities include a fitness center, indoor pool, and hiking trails.

Please note:

  • Hotel accommodations (and dorm for graduate students) are not included in the registration fee.
  • The Gala Dinner on Friday, June 5, 2026 is not included in the registration fee but can be added at the time of registration at a subsidized cost of $50.

You will be asked for your menu selection when you register.

There are no refunds once conference registration is confirmed.

No, you will not be allowed into dining areas and conference rooms if you do not have your credentials.

Credentials also state if a participant has registered to attend the Gala Dinner and includes their dinner choice.

No, all rooms have laptops that are connected with projection devices.  You just need to have your slide on a stick memory to load it into the room’s laptop.  You may use your own clicker/pointer though.

Hotel, Food & Leisure FAQs

Hotel reservations for the conference can be made through the Emory Conference Center Hotel's special event website. Use this link to make your hotel reservation and secure the discounted room rate: LINK 

Emory Conference Center Hotel will honor the discounted hotel rate for rooms booked before May 2, 2026.

Emory Conference Center Hotel allows for cancellation of hotel reservations up to 72 hours before arrival at no charge. Reservations that are canceled within 72 hours of arrival are non-refundable.

Yes, there are a limited number of Emory University dorm accommodations for graduate students that are located within walking distance of the Emory Conference Center Hotel.

Dorm housing is currently at full capacity.

Please note that reservation requests are not confirmed unless payment was received.

Due to the limited capacity of dorm accommodations, once the dorm accommodations are confirmed, the fee is non-refundable.

Saturday night is your free night so you can explore Atlanta. You can also stay at the conference hotel and use the facilities. We have reserved the Wisteria Lane Bowling for your use and enjoyment.

Atlanta is a cosmopolitan city with many food options. It is home to several Michelin starred restaurants that you can read about here.

Restaurants close to ECCH include General Muir which is in walking distance and Double Zero which is a ten minute walk from ECCH.  Ethnic restaurants with high quality food that are within 20-minute drive from ECCH include Sotto Sotto which is Italian, Delbar which is Persian, Tio Lucho which is Peruvian, Barcelona Wine Bar which is Spanish, Bar Taco which is Mexican, and Chai Pani which is Indian.

No, there is no cash bar.  We provide all beverages free of charge.

It entails a reception with appetizers and drinks, sit down plated dinner, brief acknowledgements, and then a music performance by Emory String Quartet.

No, Continental Breakfast is placed in designated areas for guests to use at their convenience during the designated times (Thursday 8:30 am-9:30 am, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:30 am-9:30 am).
