Sofía Lozano-SamperMaster's Student

Sofía Lozano-Samper is a 4+1 master’s student in Economics at Emory University, where she also completed her B.A. in Economics, graduating summa cum laude. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, she transferred to Emory after two years at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. As a member of the Economics Honors Program, she authored a thesis on food insecurity among Syrian populations in Lebanon. Sofía is passionate about gender equity, entrepreneurial ventures, and sharing insights through blogging. She’s eager to explore roles that align with her interests in economic consulting, policy research, and data-driven social impact.
