Data Science
Economics is known for its development and application of cutting-edge approaches to data sciences. Students can now pursue a major in economics, or a joint major in economics and computer science, with a specialization in data sciences, which combines foundational courses in probability and statistics and econometrics, featuring labs for statistical programming, with advanced courses in experimental economics, economic forecasting, micro-econometrics, financial econometrics, computing methods in economics, and machine learning.
We now also offer a joint major in economics and human health with a quantitative approach to health-related data analysis and policy issues.
