In Fall 2025, the department is pleased to welcome a new director of professionalism and placement for masters programs, eight new doctoral students, nineteen master of science students, and 500+ returning undergraduate students with an Economics major or minor.

We are pleased to announce that our colleague Vivian Yue has accepted to serve as the Associate Chair of the Economics Department effective September 1, 2025.
